Helix/Spiral

This symbol has come to mean a lot to me for a while now. Hard, shell, spiral, never ending. They say this shape represents all the things in nature that is able to stand the test of time. Strength, stability, RESILIENCE!

Oh, it’s also at the core of every structure, every architectural structure. If it’s at the core of every structure, it only means the core, foundation, beginning of everything is important and when you do it right, it stands the test of time.

Throughout all the changing scenes of life, we fall, we rise, we succeed, we fail, and the list goes on and on and on. Ask yourself why you are still standing after everything you’ve been through. It’s in our DNA to stand, it’s in our DNA to be resilient. Yes, they say the helix symbol is the primary structure for every living organism’s DNA, even our fingerprints.

I’m just thinking about the body and how it’s able to repair itself after injuries and all. I’m thinking about cells that have the capacity to regenerate. I’m thinking about nature that is able to heal itself. I’m thinking about God and His ways and how a symbol like the helix represents something important right from creation.

—Let’s create humans in our likeness, let’s put something in them that makes them resilient. Let’s put something in them that makes them bounce back , because as for the troubles they can’t escape but bouncing back, they must.

Heal yourself, purge yourself, go back to God who created you and knows you inside out for restoration- the manufacturer has the blueprints.

“For he shall be as a tree planted by the waters, and that spreadeth out her roots by the river, and shall not see when heat cometh, but her leaf shall be green;and shall not be careful in the year of drought, neither shall cease from yielding fruit”.

Happy new month resilient one! Welcome to your realisation that rising above problems is in your DNA. Every experience you go through builds your resilience for the future. It will end in praise, and God’s name will be glorified.
